ContextFlow
A private Mac app by Finaimo that turns your own messages, email and browsing into relationship rings and a shopping assistant that knows you.
What ContextFlow does
Relationship rings. ContextFlow arranges the people you are close to in rings, from the handful you talk to every week to the people you are drifting from, with a short summary of each relationship.
A shopping assistant that knows you. It remembers what you have bought, learns your sizes, brands and preferences, suggests restocks before you run out and, when you approve a purchase, prepares the checkout so you only press the final button.
It works from the sources you choose to connect on your Mac: iMessage, WhatsApp, iPhone and WhatsApp calls, Contacts, your browser history and open tabs, a companion Chrome extension, and Gmail.
How ContextFlow uses Gmail
If you connect a Gmail account, ContextFlow asks Google for read-only access to it. It never sends, deletes or changes your email. It reads your mail for features you can see in the app:
- Your purchases: order, receipt and shipping emails become your purchase history, the Purchases drawer, restock suggestions and your buyer facts.
- Your rings: for accounts where you turn on Context, the people you email, and how often, help place them on your relationship rings.
- Contacting sellers: when ContextFlow helps you message a seller, it drafts in your usual tone and watches for the seller’s reply.
Before Google’s consent page opens, the app shows you what it will read and how it is handled. Email text is processed by our AI provider, OpenAI, which does not train on it, and is stored encrypted with a key specific to you. Gmail data is never sold, never used for ads, and never used to train general-purpose AI models. Disconnecting an account revokes ContextFlow’s access at Google, and deleting your account erases everything. Read the Google user data section of our privacy policy and how to manage your Gmail data.
Privacy
ContextFlow reads only the sources you connect. Your data travels encrypted, your message content is encrypted at rest with a key specific to you, and no one at Finaimo reads it without your permission. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. You can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time. The full details are in our privacy policy.
